I'm thinking of buying the Zanna, Dont! original off broadway cast recording, but im not sure if it's worth it.
worth it? or forget it?
I bought it a few months ago. I think it's decent and it's worth having but it (probably) isn't something you'll listen to on a daily basis. It's certainly worth adding to your collection though so I'd say get it.
I LOVE LOVE LOVE this OCR. The songs are SO catchy, and I think they're really great.
I'd say it's DEFINITELY worth it.

I love it too. It's corny and cheeseball and incredibly enjoyable. It also has some great songs in there.
Yeah; it's corny, but it's fun, and Jai sounds great!
I've got to say I really love this one, too. Some of those songs are too cute for words.
I love this recording and listen to it a lot... It's very catchy! I'd say totally worth getting.
When it comes to buying the Zanna Don't! CD....DON'T. It is pretty bad. Totally tuneless, with the exception of 'Fast'. Give it a miss. There are still plans to do this show on Broadway this season,I guess some people have more money than good sense.

I don't regret buying it...I don't listen to it EVERYDAY, but they've got great 'pick me up' tunes and the songs are really catchy.

I always keep the CD in my car. It's adorable, fun, and very catchy. And there are some very cool songs in there.
I love ZANNA! Probably mostly because I love Jai, but it is a really fun CD with some very cute songs. No, not my favorite music, but the story is fun and Jai's voice is amazing. Hope that helps :)

I like "Zanna, Don't!" a lot. It puts you in a good mood, and I think it's worth buying just for "Be A Man." But then I just enjoy shouting along to "Somebody say HO! (HO!) Somebody say MO! (MO!) HO! (HO!) MO (MO!)! HOMO!!"
Totally worth it. It's my guilty pleasure! :)
I can't believe so many people like this show. I lent my copy to friends they all had the same thoughts about it. Stinkerooney!
If you were only judging the CD as a recording, it is good ~ not great, but good. However, the CD is alot more enjoyable if you've seen the show and know the context & meaning of the songs. Personally, I LOVED the show ~ very cute, quirky, and original, and I enjoy the CD alot more for having seen the production.
