For those of you with theatrical resumes, what are some special skills you have seen listed on resumes????

driving, juggling, swimming, sports, instruments you play........... even something like touching your tongue to your nose has been on resumes that I have seen.

Whatever special skills you have...they are your skills, not ours.

Not at all trying to use your ideas on resume, just have seen some things that I would not have thought of as usuable skills, because I suppose I am a dull boring uncreative person!!!!
A girlfriend of mine has "faking orgasams", "burbing", and "fart sounds" on her resume. She gets tons of professional work, with great regional companies. She always gets asked to demonstrate her special skills. Sometimes, people call her back just to see if she is for real. You never know.

I think the special skills largely depends on two things: (a) if you're going for a play vs. film/TV/commerical role, and (b) how much experience/training you have on your resume.
As a general rule of thumb for theatre, I would include the following:
- Any accents or dialects that you can legitimately do (just because you fool around with a British accent doesn't necessarily mean that you can perform an entire monologue with the accent)
- Any musical instrutments that you play
- Dance experience (list the type of dance...and be very specific with this)
- Fencing/marital arts experience
- Any foreign languages that you can SPEAK with competency
Hope this helps!

However, dance training/experiences is best listed under training.
Learn to juggle. Its pretty easy and it looks amazing on your resume. That way, you can always do Barnum! :) Trust me.
Contact lenses, Passport, Singing, Roller blading, Water skiing, guitar, horseback riding, etc.
Stuff like that. Whatever you are somewhat decent at. But not something you've just done once. You need to be somewhat decent at it because if someone sees that on your resume and wants you to do it, it wouldn't be very good if you didn't know what to do when they ask you to do it.
