Posted: 9/18/04 at 6:58pmdoes anyone else thing that adam and norbert kind of sound alike? everytime i hear dancing through life i can't help but think of how he sounds like adam in rent. and yes, they're both amazing singers.

Posted: 9/18/04 at 6:59pmNope. They both have the same sort of "rock" quality to their voices, but I'd sooner say Norbert and Raul sound more alike than Adam does to either of them. Adam's voice is much easier to pick out. Love them both, though!

Posted: 9/18/04 at 8:46pmI have always thought that. I love both their voices but my daughter and I argue (pleasantly) all the time-I prefer Norbert and she prefers Adam. Raul is right in there,too.

I don't think Norbert and Adam sound that much alike personally but I think Jeremy Kushnier and Adam sound alike sometimes. It's something about the way Jeremy sings "One Song Glory" that makes me think of Adam. Not sure what that's all about.
Raul is in a whole different category all together!

Posted: 9/18/04 at 9:01pmYes, that was my reaction, too. She was with me a while ago when I met him, and she'll now admit that he's "adorable." His voice still doesn't do it for her, though. Whatever. Her loss!

i love them both!!
but i have to admit the first 2 times i saw aida i saw matt bogart and when i bought the cd i just didn't get adam (matt has this really melodic voice there are clips of aida songs on his site) but once i saw adam i fell in love with him and it works for some reason when you see it live and now i love him best!!
emcee - that verison of adam and norbert singing what you own is awesome!!!! it makes me melt!! lol

I was just thinking for the first time today about how much Raul sounds like Adam, and I've thought Norbert did for a long time also. They all have something unique though...and all completely amazing. Adam and Norbert's 'What You Own' really is gorgeous :)

I love them both.
But I think Norbert is a much better singer than Adam. I can't picture Adam at all singing any of the songs from "Last 5 Years", Norbert has a better range. But I LOVE Adam's rock edge to his voice.

Posted: 9/19/04 at 1:44amI dont think its nessicarily their singing voices, but I have watched a clip of my friend's boot and Norbert says a few lines that remind me of Adam at times. It's not when he sings though :)
