Easy. The shows that have cast recordings announced their plans to record a cast album, booked time in a recording studio, had their casts go to the recording studio, had those performances mixed into a finished product, and then released it.
After Midnight has done none of those things as of yet, as far as we know. Same as the last time you asked.
Why not message After Midnight on Twitter/Facebook? Ask the cast at the stage door, at their social media accounts, etc.?

I'm sure they will eventually record it, but there are probably a lot of additional rights issues to be ironed out with the revolving special guest stars.
And also, they may want to wait until after the first wave of announced stars have performed before deciding who/what to include.

How can they record an Original Cast Album when the original star has departed?
Seems impossible.
As to Bryan's age, he is younger than springtime.

Posted: 2/13/14 at 3:51pmThe original star didn't depart. The first guest star did. This show was announced as having a rotating cast early on... personally, I think the cast recording will eventually showcase that and feature one Fantasia track, on k.d., etc., etc., in addition to the rest of the locked-in show.

Posted: 2/14/14 at 11:38amSince AFTER MIDNIGHT has a multitude of composers, lyricists, and arrangers, and some of them are deceased and represented by their estates, acquiring the rights to record all that material must be some kind of logistical nightmare. You'd think the lawyers would have settled it all at the time they were assembling the show? Maybe; maybe not? Just speculating out of ignorance here, but you'd think that if they were planning any kind of cast recording they could at least have let us know by now!

Yes, they could have... except for the fact that they didn't.
