Since, as a left coast outsider, last year's Broadway season was perhaps not the most exciting....
Any wild speculation as to what is joining Anything Goes next year at the Ahmanson. I would guess the Sister Act tour, but beyond that, can't think of what tours are out there that haven't already been announced by the Pantages.
5 show season normally made up of:
4 musicals and 1 play
I would think that Sister Act would go to the Pantages. Maybe because I had a dream that it did...
The Segerstrom Center for the Arts just released their 2012-2013 season
"Memphis" (Nov. 6–1
; "The Addams Family" (Dec. 18–30); "War Horse" (Jan. 22 – Feb. 3); "Billy Elliot, the Musical (April 16–28, 2013); "Flashdance" (May 7–19, 2013); "Sister Act" (Aug. 6– 18, 2013).
Curtain Call series: "Wicked" (Feb. 19–March 17, 2013); "Catch Me If You Can" (June 25–30, 2013); "Anything Goes" (Sep. 10–15, 2013).
it might just be me, but the line up seems so boring. the only thing i want to see is War Horse and I am going to see that at the Ahmanson in a few months.

I didn't know Catch Me if You Can was touring that will obviously stop at one of the two LA venues before Costa Mesa.
Most everything else at the OCPAC is part of the Pantages this year. The number of tours out there seems to be smaller than the number of slots to fill the Ahmanson and Pantages seasons next season.
maybe this means some Orginal Productions will be heading to the Ahmanson stage - which is exciting...rich history of orginal productions at the Ahmanson in the past few years - Dead End, Minsky's and Follies - while not orginal is the Broadway version - just not a touring version.
and who knows, maybe Funny Girl will find its way back?
