The large text in Italian was added later on into the process to reveal to the audience that despite the language, humans are humans and we can look past the language barrier. Also, having the audience confused on the langage allows them to really understand and feel Clara and Margaret's position in Florence.

Posted: 12/9/06 at 1:01pmthe wrecking of the model-T in Ragtime always annoyed me. I know you can't really wreck a car every night, but I could've done without the real sounding sound effects paired with the anything but real looking sledgehammering of the car.

Posted: 12/9/06 at 1:13pmIt bothers me that they don't give a reason in Wicked that by act 2 Glinda becomes "Glinda the Good." It just happens. Of course, I don't think anyone would accuse of the book to that being all that good... or any feature of that show for that matter...

It drives me NUTS each time I see Marius bump into Cosette on the street, then instantaneously fall in love!
