Just a quick question- if we are sending in a tape to audition for something, what is the proper format for it? Do we just do as we would as though we were actually there, our name and what two songs we're singing?

There is no general rule, but in the beginning, I would say:
"Hi! My name is _ and I am going to perform _ from _ and _ from _."

You might also want to mention what role you're auditing for.

Audition tapes are ticky. Make sure you show your full body at least part of the time so they can see your physicalization. I always start out with my name and also what show you are singing from too. Also sometimes if the place if casting multiple productions and you are auditioning for just one, let them know that. You can even do this on the tape by writing. John Smith's Audition Video for ___________.
