When I saw Sweeney Todd, on January 27, I sat in the second half of the mezzanine. I must say, they were awful seats. I could not hear a thing. Honestly, I was confused about what was going on since so many lyrics were lost. And all those around me complained of this as well. The couple next to me got assistive listening devices at interrmission.
I write to warn you, and also to ask a question. Can I write them a letter or something to ask for money back if the tickets were from TKTS. I really felt screwed over. And they were ordinarily expensive tickets. Any advice is helpful.
The only way you could receive a refund was to have confronted a house manager at intermission.

If you wan't to get anywhere with this, don't say you bought them at TKTS. Just simply say you purchased tickets, and they were unsatisfactory.
Oh geeze, I'm sitting in Row D in the mezz, now I'm worried.
You must have seen an off night. I saw the show from the 36.25 seats and they were all the way in the back and it was fine. The sounds must not have been working well.
DRS, you'll be fine!

DRS - if you are in row D, you are fine. No on ein the front half had a problem hearing. And the sight is fine.
Next time just buy "Premium Seating".

jimmirae, I wish I could afford such a luxury.

Ahhh yes, the power of an angry letter. Be careful how you use it, with great power comes great responsibility.
