Bare a Pop Opera
Bare centers on the coming-of-age story of five high school seniors at a Catholic boarding school. Knowing their stay in this insular world is drawing to a close, each of them question where they are in their lives and what the future holds in store. Answers are sought in the church confessional and in less formal venues including a stage, a rave and a well-locked dorm room.

American Theatre of Actors
314 West 54th Street Between 8th and 9th Avenues
New York NY

Audience:
May be inappropriate for ages 12 and under. (Strong language and subject matter.) Children under the age of 4 are not permitted in the theatre.

FYI: An understudy is in for Claire until the 30th when Kaitian Hopkins returns so I'd recommend waiting till then because she is AMAZING!!!!!!!

I will admit now I will shill the hell out of this show because I love it so much and I want it to do well here.

And come on, it's $40.... that's a deal in this city!

One of the things I like most about this show is that you will definitely find a character that you can personally relate to. Everyone has been or knows someone like one of the characters in the show.

I saw an informal sing-through of it a couple of weeks ago. I am light years away from being the target audience for this one, but was very impressed. Read my impressions in today's dry2olives column.

Too bad Adam doesn't have any songs in the show I like... his character "Lucas" is probably my least favorite in the whole show.... but I know he will be better than who I saw perform it in Los Angeles.

outch! for poor LA lucas..I liked him..with his cute little blond curly hair. He took a comedic approach to the role. But I am interested in Adams Flemming take.
