The TDF offer is gone.
So weird. I noticed on Tuesday they had a ton of dates available--- I think it was most of the run, or at least every performance during the first half.
I took a couple days to confer with friends & check my calendar to pick a date. I went back on TDF today & everything is gone.
I have a hard time believing they sold out of their allotment for EVERY performance. Seems like they just yanked the offer, which is a little troubling.
I know there are other discounts out there but I tend to prefer getting tickets through TDF. Oh well. Hopefully it comes back.

This is troubling... how do you go from having literally every performance for the first 2-3 weeks of the run listed on TDF to nothing? I am still doubtful this is going to happen... I hope it does, but I am not counting on it at this point.

Yeaaaaah. I mean, my plan was to choose one of the early dates-- in the first week-- in case this show implodes! But I guess I dragged my feet too long.
I'll probably get tickets another way b/c I DO want to see this. (I love the cast album, the Bat Out of Hell albums & I love a guilty pleasure turkey-type show.) But I'm definitely getting something early in the run!

If the higher-priced discounts were moving tickets, would make sense to dump the cheapest discount...

Granted I didn't see this until now, but those Audience Rewards offers for EVERY performance is "sold out." Hmmm...
It's back up on TDF for Sat 08/10/2019 8:00PM only.

What's the mystery? AR is allocated a couple pair of tickets per performance --- and when they're gone, they're gone. It was a great deal -- $48 plus 250 points for prime orchestra seats.

Bummer I don't see that. Do different people get different offers? I've been a member since 2004 but I still don't quite know how everything works all the time. Ha!

Never mind. I see it now. I had to log out then in again. But tickets are now gone for that night.
Maybe I underestimated the appeal of this show! But that's a good thing as I've been looking forward to it. I just regret dragging my feet on the original TDF offers. (And Audience Rewards but I've never redeemed points on that site. I have to get in the habit of checking more.)
Does Audience Rewards ever offer additional tickets after they are sold out?
