one thing out of many that the left out that i missed was the purpose of the yellow brick road. The idea that it was a tool of war and supression was such a crafty idea. Also the whole scene with the queen who is an elephant would have been interesting... forgive me i haven't read the book in about three years, but she was in the desert, i believe, and queen of a tribe that Elphaba meets on the way to Fyero's Castle.

Also, in the book, Elphie and Nessa have a younger Brother, and the'r mother actually died while giving birth to him. And the whole thing about the Clock in the beginning. And they omitted the whole glass-blowing thing.

It would have been cool seeing Antlers walk across the stage and pinning Fiyero against the wall.

"Do you know what pledge time is, Andrew"? said the PBS Executive. "Yes", Lloyd Webber replied. "My 50th birthday special must be one program that gets done a lot." "No", mused the man from PBS heedlessy. "Not so much. Our Stephen Sondheim Carnegie Hall concert. That's a big one." Spoons, forks and knives seemed suddenly to suspend their motion in horror, all around the table.
