"Bless the Lord" from the 2000 Off-Broadway production of Godspell. Shoshana Bean can totally rock the house.

Citizens of Oz, there is an enemy that must be found and captured! Believe nothing she says. She's evil. Responsible for the mutilation of these poor, innocent monkeys! Her green skin is but an outward manifestation of her twisted nature! This distortion, this repulsion, this - - Wicked Witch!

You flatta' me, Delphine. And I'd say the same for you but I'd look like I'm brown nosing, which I'm totally not.
Besides the fact that Delphine rocks...er...
Stephanie Block from the Boy from Oz, I'd love to hear her with different material- I'm sure that she could totally bat anything out of the park! (I have weird phrases when it comes to belting.)

"The Life of the Party" as sung by Idina Menzel is mindblowing
I love "Gimme, Gimme." The way it slowly builds is great.

Tonya Pinkins in "Caroline or Change"
The number "lots wife" had been hyped SO much before I heard it that I didn't think it could possibly live up to it's estatic praise...but it did, and suprassed it.
Tonya's belt halfway though the song (During "Slam that iron...FLAT.") dropped my jaw a good five feet. Damn, girl.

I've always been partial to Patti Lupone's "Buenos Aires".
A little swash, a bit of buckle - you'll love it more than bread.
