I don't know about the best, but one of the best is Paul's solo at the end of the opening of A Chorus Line "Who am I anyway..." I always get chills hearing it.
three of my favorites would have to be stars and javert's suicide from les mis and lost in the wilderness from children of eden
for females i think all for laura and the reprise of it from woman in white are incredible and some people from gypsy. Dont rain on my parade is also a really good solo song as well
I love "People" from Funny Girl. I think it's a beautiful song. Currently, one of my favorite solos is "The Life of the Party" from The Wild Party. I also adore "Tell Me On A Sunday"
