I stood for Jersey Boys and it was TERRIBLE!
You miss the entire top platform.
Whatever, I didn't really enjoy the show anyway.

Posted: 5/19/07 at 6:07pmdon't worry- it's behind the last row of the orchestra. you lean on a wall and instead of sitting for a show you STANd for about $20. you buy the tickets when the box office opens if and only if the show is sold out. some shows like BATB and ACL are very strict about SRO. and they only offer it if EVERY seat is sold. hope that helped.

How is the Hirschfeld? Are the locations all the way along the back of the orchestra, or only on the sides (can't remember if it's one of those houses where the center goes all the way up to the wall)? Height of the wall is important for me, too. Worst I ever had was Fosse (Broadhurst) and the wall was up to my nose. Had I been one number over, with the slope of the floor I wouldn't have been able to see.
The standing room at the Majestic is OK, but like all of the rear orch you miss all the stuff on the angel bridge and a lot of the chandelier's descent. But if you've seen it once, it's really not that big of a deal.
