Posted: 8/15/04 at 4:50pmI think you smoked too much out of your...'TOBACCO' ...pipe this morning. I LOVE WICKED ( i have seen it eight times, including Kristin's last performance) And I like the other two..BUT there has to be somethign more interesting to talk about.

And you're NOT allowed to have anything negative to say about the above mentioned shows and/or their stars. If you do, it means you're bitter and have a hidden agenda, or worse, just plain bad taste and know nothing about theater.

I love your posts Al Dente
You haven't been very active lately, probably because of the subject of this thread, but I can say that while I was lurking before I joined I very much enjoyed your posts.

Posted: 8/15/04 at 5:02pmMy favorite song from cats is... i know it is terribly cliche, but, 'Memory', but only because my mommy sings it all the time and beautifully.
re: boriiiing#13
Posted: 8/15/04 at 5:05pmI didn't love "Cats" but it was okay. Very interesting (in a strange way) and fun. The "Jellicle Ball" song was so catchy, and "Mr. Mistofolees" is fun. "Memory" got extremely old on me really fast. I liked it before it was killed in over a billion auditions.
re: boriiiing#14
Posted: 8/15/04 at 5:06pmYou know what I hate about CATS? They lick themselves...even on stage, strangely enough.

HAHA! Well, the dancing/costumes were great...the regional theater near me (and which I've done Children's Theater at) just did "Cats"
Let me post the link for production photos...they did an amazing job.

re: boriiiing#21
Posted: 8/15/04 at 5:31pmNice photos. I hope you didn't steal your staging and choreography from the original Trevor Nunn version like our regional theatre did.
re: boriiiing#22
Posted: 8/15/04 at 5:33pmWhat's wrong with using some one else's cheoreography?? That is what this world is made of...back stabbing and stealing!
re: boriiiing#23
Posted: 8/15/04 at 5:33pm
LOL tight rope??? that's fairly random...
Nope, they actually developed the story (if there is one) much more, and created new choreography to enhance the production.
re: boriiiing#24
