wow we all have no lives. sorry if that offends anyone, but its true. then again which is worse, having no life or reading thigs said by people who have no life for hours at a time. not that i do that or anything 0

I put those shows (Aida, Wicked, Rent...) into the Big Broadway Musical category - big sets, big orchestras, lots of belting in the vocals. I like them every once in a while but you have to vary the diet (as Sondheim would say) with the off-Broadway stuff (BARE) and the less mainstream stuff (Assasins) and the new stuff (Avenue Q's puppets are an interesting twist).
