broadway auditions

Has anyone ever gone on a broadway audition?? open call or something? i'm wondering how long it takes for them to get back to you, cause, you know, they may not need you for that year, but maybe for later years. what do you guys think?

If they want you for a call back you will hear within a week. (from my experience)

If you are not what they immediately want, they don't keep your pic around very long. There are too many people trying to get into the business for them to remember you for another year.

i have auditioned for them before, and i know first hand that they keep you name and picture around if you're worth it. Even a year later or so...
