one of the judges was John Weidman, writer of Assassins, Contact, and Pacific Overtures
one of the people in the talent competition did a dance to "All That Jazz" from Chicago the movie
the runner up did an awful dance to "Life of the Party" sung by Idina

Speaking of awful, didn't ya love when they were showing the clips of the other contestants singing in the preliminary talent portion? That was just...*shudders."
