Posted: 9/16/04 at 12:50pmIf you're in Equity, you should be checking the "Casting Call" on www.actorsequity.org. If not, pick up a Backstage and look under the Non-Eq pages. 'Course, if you don't live in New York, it's a bit moot anyway.

Wherever you are, there is bound to be a local newspaper that lists auditions for the area. In the major theatre cities, there are specific publications like BackStage (with East Coast and West Coast editions) or PerformInk (Chicago). Try the Playbill.com and Backstage.com websites - they're a great place to start.

You can register to receive email with casting announcements for a particular geographic area.
