change of RENT opening?!

Rent is not opening on 11.11.05? but 11.23.05? Or is the 11th select cities? (ie. D.C. NY. Chicago, SF?)

There was another thread about this a few days ago. If the opening date is changed or is going to change it will be posted on the official "RENT" website:

That site now says: in theaters 11/11/05

Besides, Phantom had said, "In select cites," ahead of time. The reason my hopes got up was because the list of "selected cites" included my town in the midwest section, right after the nearest big city, St. Louis. It didn't get here in Dec., though.

Where did you find it said "RENT: The Moive In Theatres 11.23.05?" I just checked the official website and blog, both of which still said 11.11.05 (and neither of which had it near the bottom, either).

it surely must mean wide release 11.23 (wow I see it on the top of my screen AND the bottom!) with limited release the 2 weeks before. They did Chicago similarly, as I recall...

doesn't bother me, as i'll be in NYC on the 11th! Yay me!
