children of eden audition HELP.

So... I need help... I am planning on auditioning for a production of Children of Eden, and I am feeling very conflicted as to the type of song I should sing.... ballad? comedy? classic? contemporary??
I am a mezzo... but I can kinda belt and I do sing 1st soprano at times...
Help?

You might want to put this on the Student Board, but I suggest looking at Schwartz's other works (excluding Wicked)
