I don't really agree. Although SPAMALOT wasn't my choice, it isn't preposterous that it won. Of all the new shows this year, it is the most together and well-crafted of the 4.
But you're right - no one takes them seriously anymore. After Idina Menzel won last year, that did it for me.

I'm kind of a sweat pant, t-shirt, no make-up type of girl. So once a year, I can get spiffy.
