Is that the show with those guys who make a show?
Wow. I can't belive it is closing...is it because that guy from Ferris Bueller is not in it anymore?

Yep. It ran three years in the late 80's/early 90's. Made stars out of Matthew Perry and Matt LeBlanc.

Saw it twice.
Hated it one of the times I saw it.
Sad to see it go, but its way past its prime.

"Seen parts of the movie, didn't care much for it."
Do you judge every show by the movie?

It's too bad that it's closing today, it was a really well-written, fun musical.
will someone who is going tell us how the final performance was?
#22re: closing performance of The Producers tomorrow
Posted: 4/22/07 at 7:27pmWICKED is exactly 1050 performances behind THE PRODUCERS. Does that mean (please God, please) that in two and a half years WICKED will be WAY PAST IT'S PRIME?

No. The Producers is something that is funny the first 5 times and then gets a little old. Plus, the box office wasn't so good after Nathan and Matthew left.
Wicked is a "timeless" musical...sadly.

Wicked was, in our opinion, a musical that never hit its prime. It was OK but Schwartz has written better (Pippin, The Bakers Wife) & it os not up to the hype
To those who disagree, glad you love it but not everyone feels the same

Posted: 4/22/07 at 7:42pmNLS, get a clue. THE PRODUCERS is always funny, perhaps not to you after 5 times. But the people who saw it today for the first time, and there were audience members there who were seeing it for the first time, most assuredly found it as funny as those who saw it on its opening night 6 years ago. Most people, unlike us, do not see shows multiple times.
