does anyone know if an air date has been planned for the filmed performance of the company revival? and is it a pbs "great performances" show?
You might want to add a question mark to the end of the thread title because people might click on it thinking you know when the show is going to air.
Since an airdate has not been released yet.
I believe it will air on Channel S.E.A.R.C.H.
Awww, give the op a break. He's brand new and that was his first post.
That being said, the SEARCH feature is your friend. You'll find it on the Message Board main page (not to be confused with the SEARCH feature in the upper right of the screen). There are probably a half dozen earlier "when will Company air?" threads.
But the short answer is yes it will be on Great Performances on PBS and no, there is no firm date yet. Possibly January or February.
No, i agree post headings like that are misleading.
Didn't you hear??
In a fit of rage because of his unfortunate Tony loss, Raul Esparza broke into the PBS offices and set fire to all known tapes of the performance. All documentation of the performances are gone, and the airing is, for now, cancelled. Legal action has been taken against Mr. Esparza, and his punishment has been doled. He will be forced to appear in a revival of CHITTY CHITTY BANG BANG for three years.

useful thread
All of the "Raul was mad about the Tony loss, so he [insert completely stupid, outrageous act]" comments are getting old. They were funny the first few times, but the copy-cat versions of the joke are really just... not. It's not that I can't take Raul jokes, because trust me, I can, but these are just... lame.
Gee, I must have somehow managed to refer to it as a joke in my post, and yet still not understand that it was one. I don't know how I managed that! I really needed you to clarify that for me.
I know what it was. And I said it wasn't funny. I also said it wasn't funny because it's been told HOW many times before? It's old, and totally unoriginal. Not because it was about Raul. People make these posts as though they're so terribly clever and came up with the whole idea. Copy-cat humor is lame. Things stop being funny if they're repeated over and over and over again. Why is that so hard to understand that instead of seeing my (very basic) point, you jump to the conclusion that I need to get a grip? When it becomes the default response, it's just not funny anymore. I bet I can find at least four posts that are virtually the exact same thing. Trust me, I laughed out loud at the majority of such posts back when they were, you know, not practically plaigiarized from other posters. Why should the same thing be funny over and over again? Sorry for having a sense of humor that likes a little bit of variety and doesn't find the same thing funny the 40th time.

Damn, you two are still at it? That's awesome.
It was so good last night! I loved when Jane Curtin sang "The Ladies Who Lunch"!
Which airing was your favorite, Kringas? It seems to be on an awful lot where you live.
Oh, I didn't even know those jokes existed, emcee. I wasn't copying one.

It is on four times a day here, Emcee. It was so good.
Oh, yeah, THAT must be it. Pleaaaase blame me. It's always someone else's fault, nobody ever does anything wrong here on good old BWW.
... I won't even begin to touch the problems with THAT one.
Blah. Blah. Blah. Excuse me while I go find some of these aforementioned pills.
ANYway, someone already posted that it'd be in January of February, but it's worth adding that said info popped up on Leenya Rideout's (Jenny) website.
Kringas, you didn't answer my question!
Do you have a favorite? You know, since every airing is different.
... and I'm glad americanboy can laugh when someone insults him.
I was hardly insulted, and his information was false. So, yes, I can laugh!
