"I saw this ghastly thing and now I drink to forget it. The Bataan Death March was a walk in the park compared to sitting through that show. The only thing about it that was even remotely interesting was that they danced in "flip flops."

If they had danced in Huarache Sandals it may have turned this show around: - )

I actually paid to see it twice. Once in previews, and once after it opened to see if it got better. It didn't. Love the Beach Boys, would rather listen to a Beach Boys CD anytime rather than this. So I highly doubt there would be much demand for a cast recording of this bad show when great Beach Boys CDs are available.

David Larsen also played Rolf in The Sound of Music at the Hollywood Bowl this summer, was Kenikie in Grease at CLO and is currently playing Link Larkin in Hairspray at North Shore.

Yes, it was pretty bad. Titus was good.
