Caroline- that was great!
It was literally so bad that I couldn't believe I was watching this on Broadway.

I think it's better to leave those waves to the surfers to find out than put them on a cd. Not all vibrations can be saved for eternity. Updated On: 10/22/06 at 12:26 AM
I'd rather have a nail gun put to my ears than hear a CD of that thing.
And I love the Beach Boys music.

Dear bryan,
I hate to burst your bubble but: the cast recordings that you want to be made that haven't been, won't. Learn it. Get over it.

Sweet Jesus, I knew that show was gonna suck the minute I saw it at the Macy's Thanksgiving Parade.

I loved it! Granted, I had comps.
If I had paid for it, I would have been very upset.
It was not that awful. The book was pretty lame, but the music and singing and dancing was fun.
If you want a cast recording, get a Beach Boys CD instead though.
Every show has it's merits. Lighten up and quit show bashing.

Who *didn't* have comps? No one honestly paid to see GOOD VIBRATIONS.
yeah my sister and mother saw and my sister came up with something: ME: Well I saw Wicked with the original cast
My SISTER : Well I saw Good Vibrations with the original cast, the ONLY cast!
I thought that was awesome! yeah, she loves to just make fun of how bad it was.
Saw it. Hated it. Don't want an album.
Its not a good sign when the leading man hasnt done anything since it closed.

Okay I hope that gets this thread deleted.

"Mary me, bryan"
Do you mean marry?
Ok- serious question.
bryan: Do you think the more you make threads about these shows not having cast recordings will somehow make them happen?

Actually, David Larsen played the title role in Pippin in a prominent production also starring Rachel York, Alice Playten, and B.D. Wong. He's done other work as well. I think he's great.
Bryan, Good Vibrations was my favorite show and I was absolutely heartbroken when it closed. This fabulously entertaining show should still be playing today. I'm sorry a CD was never recorded, especially with the extremely talented cast that this show featured.
