the threats were reported in the new york post a few weeks ago.
there were also multiple threads on this board.

and the people who think that idina "owes" them an autograph, GIVE ME A BREAK. Idina (or any other star) owes you nothing more than a good performance. If she chooses to sign autographs or take pictures, then thats wonderful for her, and for you.

And, I happen to be a big fan of wicked, as well as an aspiring actress who has a great deal of respect for Idina. I also happen to have met her this past September. But it did not involve yelling, shrieking, causing her to drop hot liquids, or camping outside the stage door.

The coffee story scares the crap out of me. This poor woman. It is sick and obnoxious for people to expect her to come out and cater to their every whim like an Idina robot or something when her life has been threatened. I was at the stage door visiting a friend last night and was very disturbed at all the shrieking little girls.

Well, they lie about these things all the time (so and so left...), whether it be a Broadway actor, movie star, or singer. This is to protect them so crazy fans don't barricade.

Um, how many "idinaroxmysox" are there? There are 2 that I found in this post that I have read so far, both joined the same day: idinaroxmysox1 and idinaroxmysox32. Same person???

so its not good to be excited at the stage door. they are just overly excited they cant help it i guess.
i find the coffee story an honest mistake, its not like they intended on doing that.

It is so wonderful that you have an idol, and even more wonderful that that idol is Idina, a talented, warm, and intelligent individual.

Gain some street smarts though- the threats were ALL over the news and it is a real and serious thing. She was probably scared like all hell when you screamed at her hours before the show. I am sure she is honored and humbled by her fans, as she should be, but it is a very compromising situation.

Idina Menzel can't be expected to give autographs to people. She has a life too, and it can get really stressful out by the stage doors. I know everyone else has said this, and I don't mean to tear you up, but imagine if a bunch of little girls and coffee spilling women wanted your autograph.

It'd be hysterical if she did that.

I don't like it when people assume she's a bitch because she doesn't sign or talk much at the stage door. Because there is so much demanded of her, she cannot talk to save her voice, and she cannot spend too much time outside because she might get sick. Therefore, she's a bitch?

wow I should have never posted that before. Can we all just stop this? I'm sorry for bothing Idina! Yes I do regret it but I didn't think that it would go far! Just end it already!
