which is better for seating-
Orchestra row E (on the left)

Mezz row A on the right??

Agreed...it's not exactly a show reliant on nuance, so I wouldn't say sitting in orchestra seats is "crucial" to the enjoyment of the show. The view from the mezzanine is really pretty great.
But as with almost every show, yes, sitting in the orchestra is preferable. If you have the choice, which apparently you do, I would go with the orchestra seats. It's always nicer to be on the level of the actors, even if it's not essential.
