and was wondering if anyone here could recommend great "best kept secret"-type places to get my hands on theatre memorabilia-- or really, any must-see nooks and crannies that have anything and everything to do with musical theatre. Besides the theatres themselves. Thanks in advance!

If you will be here during the weekend of the 27th they will be having the boradway flea market on September 27th. Thats where to be if you really want to get your hands on real theater stuff.

Definitely check out the Drama Book Shop on West 40th. It's easy to overlook if you don't already know about it because it is a tiny bit south of the theater district, but it is a theater lover's dream.
