Posted: 11/26/05 at 6:01pmAbout the wholle Thelma and Loiuse thing...i think that may be more chris columbus. In the show, there is no refernce to the year, you just asume it's late 80's or early 90's, only in the movie is it given 1989-90. So when Jonathan Larson wrote the show, he could have technically written it taking place in 1991...just a thought

^ it was a longer wig when I saw it a week ago.
How many matches did Roger use for Mimi's candle and did he really use them all up?
why does Joanne look more masculine than Mark during "Tango Maureen"? (actual comment said by person sitting next to me at movie)

Posted: 11/27/05 at 7:26pmIf Mark has a phone, why did he inform Alexi that he was quitting by shouting it from the rooftop?

Clearly, that was his making the decision to tell her he quits.
NONE of you have EVER talked out something alone--either outloud or in your head??

My favorite thread...
I'd say around 4 drops, i liked the snow/dust on their windows, and the chair colours were appropriate for the meeting.

>>That's the way the lyrics were actually written, it was just recorded wrong on the OBCR. If you see it onstage, the actor playing Angel says "Power, feeling." <<
^^^Wow, I didn't know that, I even saw it on stage...
In "Light My Candle" Roger tells Mimi he picked up a candy-bar wrapper. If it had really been a candy-bar wrapper what kind of candy would it have been?

Oh definitely a Whatchamacallit bar! Roger seems like that type of person - unless it was Mark's, but I always thought of Roger as more of the slob in the relationship.

Why is Wax Lion sitting in the window of Mark and Roger's loft?
Where did Benny put all of Mark and Roger's "sh*t"?

Posted: 11/27/05 at 8:22pmI love Wax Lion! I too would like to know why he is there, though.

Wax Lion probably slept with someone to get the role.

Oh that's awesome Marquise!
#66re: dust and snow on Mark and Roger's window sill--a discussion
Posted: 11/27/05 at 8:27pmRoger is definitely the slob and I love that about him. I'm so messy.
#67re: dust and snow on Mark and Roger's window sill--a discussion
Posted: 11/27/05 at 8:31pmOh, Roger. I love him in all his slobbiness glory...and I STILL don't know what the wax lion is.

Posted: 11/27/05 at 8:32pmWax Lion is a poster here. But "the" Wax Lion comes from Wonderfalls, a TV show Tracie was on.

Posted: 11/27/05 at 8:37pmMaybe that was Tracie's "personal" thing to have on the set, like the Mute poster for Adam. Since we never see Joanne at home, she'd have to put it in the loft. (I don't think Wax Lion would fit in at the Country Club.)

Did you see the same movie I did???
I'm pretty sure I remember him sayin the year in the opening
Anthony says " december 24 9 PM 1989, from here on in...."
#71re: dust and snow on Mark and Roger's window sill--a discussion
Posted: 11/27/05 at 8:39pmThe *movie* has a year. The *show* does not. So in the show, *technically* it's passable. In the movie, it's an anachronism.

Posted: 11/27/05 at 8:59pmthats what i meant thanks. I'm just saying, it chris columbus who made that mistake...most of the stuff we were talking about deals with the material in general, but this was a movie only fluke
#73re: dust and snow on Mark and Roger's window sill--a discussion
Posted: 11/27/05 at 9:12pmOkay I just thought of this... did anyone else notice the guy in la Vie Boheme who was sitting to the left of Mimi and totally mugged infront of the camera when they all stood up and started walking? Rosario practically had to push him out of the way. I just thought it was funny. I probably would have done the same thing if I got to be in the RENT movie!
