Hey im not gonna give my own review since I'm havin to much fun reading this, but i was 3rd row- AWESOME show. I'm so glad I went :)

so beacon had e-mailed Dag to tell her to keep an eye out for me. so as soon as i mentioned my name to her, she knew right away who i was and everything. she said that she was trying to find me too, and i said that i was pretty sure i saw her but then when patrick sat down with her i knew for sure re: embrace REVIEW!!!

so then we just small-talked a little. she is SO SO SO SOOOOOOOO nice. like, omg. i felt really comfortable talking to her. we talked about school and stuff (her younger sister is a freshman somewhere in north carolina i think she said), and i mentioned that emcee and i had seen patrick at GMA and at bloomie's.

and then...i brought up beacon.

well, when they started introducing Emily Skinner, they said "The next performer garnered critical aclaim for The Full Monty..." and i literally squeaked. but then it wasn't patrick and i was sad.

but when they DID announce him, i was too busy cheering myself to notice the rest of the reaction re: embrace REVIEW!!! no, he got a nice big applause. it was good.

oh, i forgot to mention, the host, Judy Gold, was HILARIOUS. i absolutely loved her. angry jewish lesbian. 'nuff said.

so anyways, back to Dag.

i said to her, "by the way, [beacon] wanted me to assure you that she's not insane."

"no!" she answered, "she's just a fan!" (holding clenched fist up in front of her like... oh, i can't describe it)

i explained how you like send emcee and i out on missions and such. and dag said she's glad he has such great fans. i was like, he totally deserves them. "yeah, he's amazing," she replied with a smile. *cue AAAAAAAAAWs*

so then, she decided to call patrick so she could introduce us. she whipped out the cell phone (i was so tempted to try to memorize the number. no wait... i didn't just say that! who, me? nooo! you're hearing things!) he said he was out front. so Dag turned to me and said "come on!" with a little twinkle in her eye and i followed her downstairs.

oh, it was a good gesture. like a "solidarity" type thing. i can't even explain it. it was like "she's a hardcore fan and that's a good thing!"

so we get outside and are greeted by the FREEZING cold, but no patrick. we walked back and forth a few times and then she called him again and started towards the center doors (we were at the door to the left). but i saw him come out of the far doors and started that way, and Dag's brother (? she introduced the woman she was with as her mom, so i'm assuming the other guy, with whom she was speaking polish, was a brother or cousin or something) called me back, but then Dag saw patrick too and we all went over to him.
