which broadway logo is your favorite or brings the most attention to the show?
I've always liked the giant half-faced Hairspray logo. It's catchy and sparks your curiosity.
poster or logo? poster, wicked is my fav. logo hairpsray.
Wicked, Millie, Phantom.
ooo, and i like the into the woods revival poster (not the logo, the poster)

I Like the Original Production of Into the Woods!
I must say, the one that sparked the most controversy was Taboo and I love it for that reason.
I also like the one for Sunday in the Park With George.
I like Millie's and Hairspray's.....The Nine poster had something intriguing about it as well....always made me wonder every time I saw it. I also like the Beauty and the Beast poster with the silhouette of the beast, and the rose.
The "Nine" logo is my favorite. I love that face. Does anyone know who it is?
I love Hairspray's just because it's so bright and colorful. I also really like the Rent OBC poster, with the little pictures of the cast all around the logo. And the way Cabaret was written on the marquee at studio 54, with the letters all tilted and then underneath it said "in here life is beautiful"
it was so intriguing. I have the Aida poster on my wall. I don't know why I like it so much, besides the fact that it's my favorite show, but it's pretty.
is it me or was lion king's poster rather intriguing?

Never Gonna Dance, Wicked, and of course, Millie.
And my all time favorite logo: Miss Saigon.
Hairspray and I kind of like the Gypsy one the way it has all the different show related thing to make up each letter.

My favorite old poster: 1973 Revival of "Gypsy" w/ artwork, which is my current icon, by Hilary Knight (I believe.)
My favorite current poster(s): Gypsy (I like the way they used everything but the kitchen sink to create the logo,) and I've always been a fan of Thoroughly Modern Millie's cheesy, yet appropriate given the subject matter, to be quite eye catching. I think it's the red on white.

I really enjoy the original Ragtime show card...but my favorite current Broadway show cards would have to be Wicked and Hairspray.
I love the Wicked poster. I agree with whoever said the thing about the OBC Rent poster. It's so simple yet so cool.
pennylou, you reminded me. i love how Gypsy has each letter as something different.

I'm pretty sure that's Barbara Steele on the Nine logo, Gloria in the film 8 1/2. Which is an amazing movie.

All these posts and no mention yet of the original Follies poster?

Going to agree with Magruder.
I'll also add the FUNNY GIRL logo--a classic in its own right.
Bulldog
The FOLLIES poster is brilliant...and only on a second look does one notice the crack through the face. Is it Richard Amsel?
Other classics: MAME, DREAMGIRLS and THE 1940s RADIO HOUR.
Pin-Up artists George Petty did AS THE GIRLS GO and Alberto Vargas did Cole Porter's MEXICAN HAYRIDE - both Mike Todd productions, I believe.

I'm going to go back to ancient history, the late-mid-'80s for "Carrie: The Musical." There was never a logo like her.

Some others at the top of my list...
ooops..forgot another one: DEAR WORLD.
And of all things, MOLLY with a great Hirshfeld of Kay Ballard hanging laundry out a window with socks on a clothesline spelling the show's title.
Whoever designed the WICKED logo should get some kind of pension from the shows' producers. It's the best show logo in years.
