Guys we have to STOP the fighting a START awareness for TDRI
Screw BCEFA! TDRI is on the rise,,,,it's not going away! Actual Reality! Act up FIGHT TRAP DOORS!

I agree with my ol' friend Munk....Miss Opel is terribly miscast and pretty damn awful in FIDDLER,,but she tries.
I'm kinda over that they only say "A dancer" fell through the trap door...pretty much all of the ensemble in that cast has just as many credits to their names as Nancy Opel...give them a little spotlight too! DAMN IT :)
Munk....I will never leave. SO don't "alienate" me :)

this could just be me but is it really that hard to miss a big hole in the floor? unless it was one of those speed entrance/exit ones then i can see it for the first guy, but my thinking is this...if you were nancy opel and you knew somebody fell down the trapdoor earlier wouldn't you make damn sure to avoid it?

I don't mean this as an insult,but it's probably just your lack of experience,jonah-the trapdoor could have been called down prematurely as she was crossing over it-it could have been down when it's supposed to be up-and with the lights in your eyes,you can't always see the stage & have to trust that things are where there supposed to be-don't blame the victim... I agree - we know she was injured because of the trap door, but no one knows what really happened. Yes, you make a valid point in saying that she must have been aware of the door since an accident happened before, and I'm sure she's more than aware of it. Because of that, you'd think that something must have gone pretty wrong for her to get injured on it. As capnkidd basically said above, maybe the door opened prematurely or a set piece was out of place or anything, so don't blame the performed.

But, as I said above, no one knows what really happened, so I might be the one that's wrong, who knows. I'm not bitching at you or ridiculing you or anything, just stating my opinion
