Posted: 8/19/04 at 3:12pmIs it just me or do not many of the songs in this show seem "catchy" like we're used to with Wildhorn?

Posted: 8/19/04 at 6:54pmI do not like it at all. It does sound like Jekyll and Hyde, but J and H is much better. Blech on this.

Two questions came to mind while I listened to (some of) that song.
1. Does Mr. Wildhorn have any musical training?
2. Is there such a thing as a Broadway garrage band?

I actually enjoyed it.
But .. was anyone reminded in the beginning of the song, of LOTR when Liv Tyler speaks elfish (if thats what its called) in that deep voice?

There are 3 songs available on the official Dracula, the Musical fan site. These are "Fresh Blood", "The Heart is Slow to Learn" and "Life After Life". You will need to join the site (it's free) and then go to the AV room to get the songs.

Life after Life is sung by Lucy (Kelly O'Hara), then there is a short reprise of the song done by Dracula and Mina.
I can't find those tracks on the other website. Can anyone help?

Posted: 8/22/04 at 3:50pmJust listened to the songs, not AS bad as I thought they would be. Not anything special, the lyrics sound particularly lame in "Fresh Blood." "Life After Life" isn't too bad. "The Heart is Slow to Learn" is very boring IMO. Fairly mediocre overall. Maybe I'll see it just for the heck of it.
