Posted: 8/22/04 at 4:28pmWow, if this the tolerable song as I've heard from a few, I'm just glad I won't get the oppurtunity to see it. Bad Lyrics, Music was OK, but it reminded me of the trans-siberian Orchestra. with less drama, people, and talent. Not impressed at all.

Posted: 8/22/04 at 6:06pmDoes anyone else hear bits and pieces of "Facade" in some of the songs? Not the whole song just some of it. Or is it just me?

Posted: 8/22/04 at 6:09pmYeah, this song was just... not good. I mean the lyrics weren't good and the music wasn't good. What more can you say?

Posted: 8/22/04 at 6:16pmi get a jekyll and hyde vibe from most of the songs..but that just might be cause tom sounds like he would make a good jekyll and hyde...the shows are also both dark.

Posted: 8/22/04 at 6:17pmSo far, I like the music and lyrics to Dance of The Vampires better...I loved that show. But who knows, this has a familiar story, it could be good for tourists.

Posted: 8/22/04 at 7:04pmi have to agree with Derek2. song wise. i liked dance of the vampires better. at least that one kept me somewhat interested. this one seems a little on the choppy side. like it didn't stick with one thing. it was jumping all over the place.

Posted: 8/23/04 at 12:53pmThe "into the fire part 2" song is "Deep in the Darkest of the Night", but just to warn anyone seeing this show, the songs are nothing like J&H, they are more haunting and the reason I believe that not a lot of them are catchy are because most of the music is consisted of haunting ballads, there are not big numbers like "Murder,Murder" or "Facade". I enjoyed it and I must give kudos to Frank Wildhorn for trying something new, I hate when composers copy thier work.
