looking for a copy of the playbill for "How the Grinch Stole Christmas", preferably at the 42nd St. Theatre, but the St. James is also fine.

No such theatre as the 42nd Street....do you mean the Hilton (now the Foxwoods) when it starred Jon Cullum & Patrick Paige?

correct. i just couldn't remember the name of it since it's been through so many name changes. i figured most theatre folks would understand what i meant
