It's a good thing "Mama's Talkin' Soft" was cut because in this production, Patti isn't!
Mama's singin LOUD is more like it.

Since Time Life has delayed Annie for so long does that mean we're getting Gypsy in a few years?

Having seen it, I'm now looking forward to this more than I have any recording in a long while.
And that said, I wonder how Patti's incredible and manic "Roses Turn" will sound on a recording... (And I think the same goes for the Tonys: how will this look out of context?)

Posted: 4/11/08 at 11:44amI'm thinking they'll do "Everything's Coming Up Roses" for the Tony's. For one, it allows Benanti and Gaines to be on stage, and the song makes more sense out of context. AND Peters' highly edited "Rose's Turn" was well performed but the cuts lost so much.
