Whatever you do, do not call spelling bee a thingy.
GO see: Drowsy, Tarzan if you want some Disney enjoyment, Grey Gardens if you want something beautiful, yet seemingly depressing, Les Miserables,(It's LES MIZ!) and if you can get tickets to either or both, go see COMPANY and/or A CHORUS LINE. You will not regret either, but I especially reccomend ACL.

You need to see GREY GARDENS and you need to see it with Christine Ebersole. All the other shows on your list can wait.
