Except one award DRS won best musical categories. Spamalot won 1 (the World Theatre award), and now everyone says that Spamalot will win the Tony.
What happened??

Posted: 6/4/05 at 11:17amI personally believe that DRS doesnt have much of a chance to win Best Musical tomorrow (that does NOT mean, however, that I dont want it to win...I would love for it to win). For me, at least, it seems the Tony voters are stuck between Spamalot and Spelling Bee and if I had to guess, I would cross my fingers and say Spelling Bee's got this one by a nose. But Spamalot could very easily win. We'll see tomorrow.
