Nononono DON'T go to compulsivebowlers. That site is not what it used to be. Those people don't deserve to call themselves RENTheads (Except for the BWW people, who have proven that they indeed have brain cells and can speak intelligently about a musical). Say one word and they all bite your head off. You can be a RENThead just by saying you are one. If you are truly passionate about the music, the show, the composer, and at some point in time it's performers, then you can call yourself a RENThead. Welcome to the club

CATS-I did that! I suggested to them that just maybe since they all love RENT, they could maybe try following its theme and being nice to one another.

what i love is how normally a$shole-ish people suddenly turn into the nicest, fawning fangirls/boys when they see that the actors come onto the boards, when the rest of their time is spent flaming the newbies and acting all pretentious.

but there are a few cool cats on the boards. i don't post as much as i used to though.

Same. I just skim a few threads and I don't post much. Everything is just people being nasty and trying to one-up each other. And they flame when newbies revive old threads and they whine when they start new ones.

yeah, i'd rather people revive old threads than start brand new ones on topics that have already been discussed. it can sometimes be annoying but since someone just revived my "Interview With Andy Meeks" thread to compliment me, then I suppose I can't complain.

And bww really isn't nasty, as long as you watch yourself in the beggining. Don't overcompliment and get labeled a shill, check your grammar and just try to find a clique. There's quite a few, most are pretty nice.
