Despite my last comment, if she can act well in the part and sing well for that part, then why not?

this topic has been hit upon but for those that don't know, there supposedly IS going to be a Legally Blonde Musical & Kristin supposedly passed on it - Again, key word being 'supposedly' - no one really knows..

And...

need I remind the ones needed reminding.. the people who think she is too old to play 'Elle' --- During the 1998-99 season, she created the role of 5 year old Sally in the first Broadway production of You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown, sweeping the Tony, Drama Desk and Outer Critics Circle Awards as the season's Best Featured Actress in a Musical. ....

still questioning her acting/singing ability?

I don't think Kristin is to old. I mean Bernadette Peters played Annie Oakley who is supposed to be about 20 and if you see Bernadette up close you would never think it would work out, but it did.
