Due to my limited experience with the numbers I can't say that I would have changed a couple like caroline and unfortunately I don't have a lot of experience with the Boy from Oz either. However I would say the only two I would have changed that I have seen or heard were the following
Avenue Q- Everyone's a little bit Racist
Assasins- Another National Anthem
Wonderful Town- Ohio... Maybe.... and that's a big maybe
wicked- same, defying gravity is amazing
boy from oz- i go to rio
avenue q- same, or for now
assasins- same, dont know the show
wonderful town- wrong note rag or Conga
fiddler- same
Caroline Or Change- either the act 1 finale, or the scene when anika noni rose first enters and has that three minutes thing with tonya pinkins

While I GO TO RIO is very spectacular, that would not have given the audience a very good idea of how Peter Allen was as a performer.
I think the choice of NOT THE BOY NEXT DOOR was appropriate - as the song and the performance antics showed the essential Peter Allen...and allowed the crowd-pleasing Sarah Jessica improvisation.
The TONY number performed by Hugh was actually a restaging of and combined the elements from NOT THE BOY NEXT DOOR ( for the song itself and the booty dance), BICOASTAL ( the stylized piano playing, including some of the piano and dance antics...and the much applauded audience interaction part in the show itself) and EVERYTHING OLD IS NEW AGAIN ( for the adlibs and the references to RCMH and the Rockettes).
