Explain that to:

Cliff in the last Cabaret revival who saw "Why Should I Wake Up?" put to bed

Annie in the last Annie Get Your Gun revival who saw "I'm An Indian Too" axed

Gavroche in the last Les Miserables revival who saw "Little People" orphaned

If the show doesn't get renewed, I could see them ending Rachel's character arc by casting her in Funny Girl, but I bet it would be as Fanny's understudy:)

A deal for season five and beyond is being worked out or has been pretty much confirmed.

SoaRJ - I just saw last weeks episode because Im lame, and watch all my shows on Hulu, but I was VERY excited for that shout out lol :)

To be perfectly honest, I cannot stand this show. But I might just change my opinion if there is a Funny Girl episode. We deserve something after the revival falling through.

I'm not even a Lady Gaga fan, but I have to bring her up. Somebody said Lea's currently the only person with the star power and the talent to take on the role, and while Gaga probably wouldn't take on Broadway now, I have a feeling she will in a few years.

I think she would be leagues better than Lea as Fanny Brice. Vocally rich, committed and theatrical, yet soulful and funny.

If there's a Season 5, why no word of a Glee Project 3 yet? Given the fact that the runner-ups have shone brighter than the winners, I can understand why it may not be a priority, but curious. And for purely selfish reasons, I'd like my daughter to have another chance to try out for it. She made a couple cuts for Season 2...her photo was visible on the casting special.

broadwayjim - The article I read said the confirmation will be happening shortly to accommodate the beginning of The Glee Project auditions shortly. I made a video last year due to being unable to attend the actual auditions, and I too would like a chance to be seen again.
