when did this happen, the hairspray site has him listed as playing the roles usually played by joel vig.
yea it seems he stared 2 or 3 weeks ago.. His voice reminds me of the rat from Charlottes web and he's thin.. I'm use to a chubby Mr. Pinky and such.

That so called rat from Charlotte's Web was none other than Bye Bye Birdie's Paul Lynde. The man was a comedic genius, as was Monroe on TV's Too Close for Comfort.
Aww this is really what it's come to for Jim J? With the shamelessness of all the stunt casting we see these days, it's sad that he couldn't at least have a more prominent role in a show. Don't the kids still love Jim J? Put him in Rent as Mark!

Broadway Matt - trust me, this is a step up from what I saw him doing a few short months ago - a perfectly unrealized new piece by Fred Willard's wife (which I'm assuming that Jim got roped into because of friendship) in an absolutely out-of-the-way community theatre setting. It was groan inducing, and that was at the good parts.

I agree with you - Jim J is WAY too old for Rent, and life has not been kind to JimJ. After his talk show stint with Tammy Faye was cancelled, he enetered into rehab and has been trying to get back on track ever since. He is a lovely guy, and I really wish him the best. I did a regional production of Wizard of Oz with him, where he played the lion. He was so much fun. It's nice to see him out and about again! LOL JimJ.
My friend dated Jim J. for a while. I thought he was wealthy and heir to the Bullock's department store money, but my friend put an end to that notion! He is apparantly a lovely man who spent way too much money.
Isn't it Jm J?
