They're all on strike and they will be for the entire season.
There's nothing anyone can do about it.
How very necessary.

I think the best thing to do is go home, because there's nothing good playing.

^ You're a positive person.
I'd recommend 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee if you haven't already seen it. The current cast is great and the show is closing soon.
Also, I'd also recommend Young Frankenstein, if only because Sutton Foster and Roger Bart are in it.
I haven't seen it but people are loving Xanadu.
starlight2...nice name! :)
I'm not sure about places to stay, but I've seen Xanadu and it's a fun show!!
Have a great time in NYC!!
I don't know about places to stay because I usually just drive to the city and spend the day, but Mauritius or Spelling Bee (especially since it's closing), would be good choices.
Happy Thanksgiving and enjoy NYC.
There are a great many things that are still playing in New York, whether it be on Broadway or off Broadway (Die Mommie Die is extremely good!) Mauritius is also very good, and so is Xanadu and The Ritz.
And there is other things to do in NYC besides going to shows, check out the museums, or go to Chelsea Market, or even the top of the Empire State Building. NYC is a wonderland!!!

Josh, you are an idiot! BS 76, you rock! I have a ticket for Young Frankenstein and Xanadu, will check for Spelling Bee Wednesday. Hope there is a matinee! Starlight2, funny we have the same name, i think I began looking at this board in 2002 and registered with that name soon after? weird! anyone know where I can go for a map of the parade? thanks for all you that actually helped! I also want to see Rockefeller Plaza and Central Park and the History Museum! Any chance of snow? I am so dang excited!
Mary Poppins is also open. Since your limited in your show choices, you might want to see that. A lot of things are sold out for Thanksgiving weekends though. Maybe something off-Broadway? Or the Radio City Christmas show?
Top of the Rock is cool. I have been up twice and actually like it better than going to the top of the Empire State Building.

SEE XANADU! It's so incredibly fun! (skip Mary Poppins and save your money)
I forgot about Mary Poppins....also a good show! There's some really great dancing in it. Central Park is wonderful!
starlight 2...about my name....when I signed up I didn't know that someone had this name. (I originally signed up as just "Starlight"...I thought that BWW would say someone already had that username and make me choose another one if it was already in use, but I was just automatically assigned a "2" after the name.) I just recently found out that you had that name also.
Have a great time in NYC! I'll keep my fingers crossed for snow! : )
Josh is just bitter that his boyfriend found out he was ****ing around with the rest of NYC
Here's a parade map I found through Macy's.
Also if you have nothing planned for Wednesday afternoon/night you could also go check out the balloon's being blown up as well.
Have a great time!!!
