I hope we do get one from a collector's standpoint, regardless of how terrible it is, but at this point it doesn't look likely.

At present, no cast recording will be created. However, a few numbers that heavily feature Ann will be recorded (with some additional material that's not in the show) and distributed to Tony voters.

If this is true, it would likely already have happened since I would assume they would want to get this into the hands of members of the Tony nominating committee.....getting into the hands of Tony voters is pointless if they don't land a Best Score nomination (which at this point already seems VERY unlikely)

Another reason to do any cast recording is to entice regional , community and high school/college theatres  to do it. Since the only good thing about the show is the puppet, once this production closes I can see the show disappearing forever (Thank God!)
