SORRY ABOUT THE OTHER POST... There is something wrong and I can't update it or anything... so here they are

Light in the Piazza
I was so excited to FINALLY see this show. I had the understudy for Signor Nacarelli, and I thought he was really funny. The entire cast was AMAZING. I was in the front row and I purposfuly didn't read any synopsises about the show because I wanted to be surprised. The show moved me emotionally in a way nothing has ever before. The set was amazing! After the show it took about an hour to meet everyone, but everyone was really sweet and funny. Matt left on his scooter, and I got a chance to talk to him and each of the lead cast. The only person that I wanted to meet but didn't was Sarah Uriate Berry. [AND FYI: the cigarettes smoked onstage during Piazza are HERBAL CIGARETTES. I asked Victoria Clark, and she said they weren't unhealthy for you.]

Individual performances:
Victoria Clark - She was even better than I thought she was going to be. Her emotional impact from the show was astonishing. It was obvious that this role was her and she deserved the Tony for it. I liked that she was the narrator of the story.
Kelli O'Hara - She perfected this role. The role was much different than I thought it was going to be, but it was magnificent. The role could have easily been taken the wrong way, but she did it in such a way that she was enjoyable to watch.
Matt Morrison - AMAZING! I was so excited to finally see him in person. His emotions were right on target, and his voice was superbly amazing. He was even better than the recording. During the curtain call, he looked right over at me and my sister and started to giggle. [We were cheering the loudest... korenglish's reviews]
Guiseppe Nacarelli - Hilarious! I thought American Dancing was going to be different... but it was so awesome, and I loved his dancing. He's not prominent in the cast recording, so I was excited to see him onstage.

Phantom of the Opera
I wanted to see Phantom because my sister is going to the college that Hugh Panaro went to, so she was really excited. The overall show was a lot of fun to watch, and Hugh Panaro is the best Phantom. Sandra Joseph had a really great voice, but it wasn't really my type of choice that I normally like. I think my favorite lady in teh show was Carlotta. After the show we got to meet her, and she told my sister and I that we were beautiful... yea right, not compared to her. My sister got a chance to talk to her about performing and the show itself. Hugh Panaro didn't come out after the show, which my sister was really bummed about... she wanted to ask him questions about his experience at the same college they were going to. The movie doesn't even compare to the stage version... the Phantom cast onstage actually has TALENT, which was obviously something majorly missing from the movie [besides Patrick Wilson]. I loved the Chandelier swooping down on the audience, and the props for the show were really cool to see. I liked this cast a lot better than the OBC of the Phantom of the Opera... each actor was stronger.

Light in the Piazza - matinee without Matt
Again, the show was great... and I'm glad that I saw the show two times, because within the two shows I have seen all of the OBC. I actually think I preferred the understudy of Signor Nacarelli, but they were both good... just different intepretations. Anyway, the understudy for Fabrizio WAS AWFUL. He was overacting and his voice was not good. It took away from the other character's performances. I couldn't watch him because he just was that awful, in my opinion. I was profoundly disappointed because Signor Nacarelli's understudy was so great, and Matt Morrison's understudy was so awful. I was really happy to be seeing Kelli, Victoria, and Michael again though.

Maybe more reviews to come... later on, I commend you for reading this review. Korenglish

This isn't part of the review... so here is a new reply for this

I met LEA SALONGA! She was at the stage door of Spamalot and my sister and I started screaming. She didn't want to take away form the other performers and their autograph signings, so she just left. I really hope she comes to the Philly region for a concert.

David Hasselhof at Piazza... hehe, he went to go see the show the same night as me. Matt was like, "Have you guys seen David Hasselhoff?". It was really cool. I don't know him really well, but I did sit pretty close to him and after the show he left at the stage door. I wasn't allowed to take any pictures, but I don't mind becuase my focus were on the performers.

Nice reviews... I didn't like the understudy of Matt Morrison either.
