now, now, allofmylife.
I'm sure you'd go if your daughter were actually playing elle. : )
PS: I was thinking about how funny this was going to be when released to high schools the other day. There's no way high schools have the number of high belters for this (what - seven, including Elle, Paulette, Vivienne, Brooke, and the sorority girls?)
Looking foward to high schools girls singing "So Much Better" and "What You Want" in a light soprano tone.

Honestly, don't expect it to be released any time soon.
A bunch of shows are put on MTI (or any other theatrical rights site for that matter) before they are released. Just look at Rent, Hairspray, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, and The Wedding Singer.

Posted: 5/31/08 at 3:37ami know this is a little random but on websites such as stageagent.com, etc, they always seem to have the wrong voice parts for the girls, like they say elle is a soprano but refrain from mentioning the need for a soprano who can BELT, anyway its all very confusing

inlovewithjerryherman, I love "legally Blonde' and see it every time I am in New York. I meant I cannotimagine seeing amateurs destroy the show. Who is going to do Kate Shindle's role? Or Orfeh's? That being said, it will be done over and over because of the subject matter.
Imagine how much money they'll eventually make of Wicked, buut do you want to see amateurs Defying Gravity? (Try watching some of the "performances" on youtube).
