Posted: 10/10/05 at 10:19pmjust wondering how popular the sro tickets are for the lion king. me and 5 friends are planning on going into the city on a saturday and are gonna try for the matinee sro tickets. is there a crazy line for when the box office opens? or would there be a good chance of me getting those tickets? any idea? thanks

Posted: 10/10/05 at 10:35pmI walked by one Sat morning a few weeks ago and it looked kinda busy. I'd just be safe and get there early...especially if there are 5 of you. I think they only do 1 per person too if I remember correctly.

Posted: 10/10/05 at 10:57pmI did standing room for the show back in 1999 and was up in the mezz, which I DO NOT suggest getting. There is nothing for you to lean on and you just stand there on the steps for three hours. I believe if you get standing room in the orchestra, than you get a railing to lean against which will be much more comfortable.
