okay, so there is the next long running show to close.
But in your opinion what new broadway show is the next long running show?

of the new ones this year, i'd say wicked will outlast the rest. I don't know if it will be "long-running" (but then again, define long-running). hairspray too, even though that's not this year.

long running just means, having a more than healthy run. Suh as The Producers is long running (in my opinion over 1,00 is long running). I agree, I think hairspray and wicked will be around for awhile

RENT is #12 on the list of longest running shows. You can check playbill.com for more details on which shows had/have the longest run.
